Ask it a question in plain language, anywhere in WorkMentor, and it answers from the product's own help content, shaped for the role you are signed in as, and points you to the exact page to act on. The same question does not have a single answer for everyone. A member proposing their own objective and an admin configuring approvals need different guidance, even when they type the same words.
Mentor AI knows the role you are signed in as. Members, managers, HR, and admins each get instructions for the pages they can actually open. Anything outside your role is treated as unavailable rather than described, so you are never walked through a screen you cannot reach or a permission you do not have.
Answers that lead somewhere
An answer you cannot act on is just more reading. Mentor AI is built to move you forward, not to lecture.
Replies open with a direct answer. Numbered steps appear only when a task genuinely needs them, so simple questions get simple answers. And every reply finishes with a link to the right page, so the gap between “now I understand” and “now it is done” is a single click.

Mentor AI has one job: explaining where and how to do things in WorkMentor, from WorkMentor's own help content. That focus is a feature, not a limit.

Example
A member asks, “How do I propose my own objective?” Mentor AI replies: open the OKRs tab on the dashboard and click Propose objective. It notes that a proposal needs one approval from someone above you in the reporting line and shows as Awaiting approval until then, then links straight to the dashboard.
