For remote teams

Run a remote workforce from one reliable record.

When nobody shares an office, the record is the only view of the workday. WorkMentor records each check in, leave request, and tracked hour against the same employee profile. The desktop app adds activity, idle time, and screenshots to the task being worked on, so managers can see how the hours were spent and payroll starts from totals it can trust.

The problem

What gets harder when everyone works from home.

Remote work removes the shared place where attendance, requests, and hours used to be visible without anyone writing them down.

The workday stops being visible

Start times and hours end up in chat threads and personal spreadsheets, and nobody can tell how a reported day was actually spent.

Requests wait in the wrong channel

Leave and correction requests arrive by email or message, then stall until the right manager happens to see them.

Payroll rebuilds the month

Finance collects hours and leave from several places and checks them by hand before a pay run can start.

How it fits

How WorkMentor fits remote work.

Each part of the remote workday lands on the same employee record, so the next person to use it starts with the full context.

Every setup

One platform, whichever way people work.

Remote, hybrid, and on-site teams use the same WorkMentor workspace. What changes is how the day is recorded. Most organizations run more than one of these at once.

Common questions

Questions from remote teams.

How do remote employees check in with WorkMentor?

Remote employees check in and out from the WorkMentor mobile app, the desktop app, or the browser extension. Work from home days are recorded as their own attendance records, separate from office attendance.

Can managers approve leave and attendance corrections remotely?

Yes. Leave requests, attendance corrections, and work from home requests go through an approval flow that managers can act on from the web workspace or the mobile app.

Does remote attendance feed into payroll?

Approved attendance and leave are available to payroll preparation in the same workspace, alongside allowances, deductions, tax, and loans, so payroll does not rebuild totals from separate sources.

Can I see how remote employees spend their tracked time?

Yes. The WorkMentor desktop app records activity, idle time, and screenshots alongside the task being worked on, so managers can review tracked hours with the context behind them.

Can remote employees track time against projects?

Yes. Employees use timers or manual entries against project tasks. Managers review and lock timesheets, and approved billable hours can move into client invoicing.
