Method
How the estimate is built.
Each area converts your figures into yearly hours and cost, then applies the share of work you expect to remove. The WorkMentor cost is the Pro list price of $9 per user per month for every person you enter.
Timesheets and attendance
Collecting hours, fixing missed check-ins, and approving corrections. WorkMentor records check-ins, shifts, and timesheet reviews in one approval flow.
People × minutes a week ÷ 60 × 48 weeks × hourly costHow WorkMentor handles itLeave requests
Checking balances, chasing approvals, and updating records by hand. WorkMentor keeps leave types, quotas, requests, and approvals together.
People × requests a year × minutes each ÷ 60 × hourly costHow WorkMentor handles itPayroll runs
Rebuilding attendance, leave, allowances, and deductions before every run. WorkMentor previews payroll from approved records and generates payslips.
Pay runs a year × hours per run × hourly costHow WorkMentor handles itUnbilled client time
Hours that are worked but never reach an invoice. WorkMentor builds invoices from reviewed project hours.
Billable people × unbilled hours a week × 48 weeks × billing rateHow WorkMentor handles it
Yearly value = the sum of each area × the share you expect to remove. Net = yearly value minus Pro cost. Payback = Pro cost ÷ yearly value × 12 months.
Calculator questions
What the numbers include.
Where do the starting figures come from?
They are sample inputs so the calculator shows a result on first load. They are not WorkMentor benchmarks or customer averages. Replace each one with a figure from your own payroll calendar, leave records, and timesheets for an estimate you can rely on.
Why do I choose how much of the work is automated?
How much manual effort disappears depends on how your policies, approvals, and pay rules are set up today. Rather than assume a number, the calculator applies the share you choose to every area, so the result stays your estimate. A lower share gives a more conservative view.
How is the WorkMentor cost calculated?
The calculator uses the published Pro price of $9 per user per month and counts every person you enter as a user for 12 months. It does not apply the 30-day free trial or any Enterprise terms, so the cost side is the full list price.
Why does the calculator use 48 working weeks?
Weekly tasks such as timesheet reviews stop during public holidays and annual leave. Using 48 weeks instead of 52 avoids counting work that does not happen. Leave requests and pay runs use yearly counts, so they are not affected.
Is anything I enter saved or sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. Your figures leave the page only if you copy a link to the estimate, which puts them in the address, or if you ask the WorkMentor team to review the estimate with the form.
Does this cover Enterprise pricing?
No. Enterprise pricing is tailored to each organization, so it cannot be estimated here. Send the estimate with the review form or contact sales for a proposal.
